From killer heels to comfortable flats and everything in between, there are certain styles of shoes that every woman would need in her wardrobe. Timeless and versatile, these must have shoes come in their individual styles.

Here is a guide to the essentials shoes for your wardrobe and how you can wear them:

Flip flops
On the beach, in summer months or for around the house, flip flops are so useful; no doubt, they come first in the list. They are must-haves for holidays and could also double as a night-out footwear. These are great for days when you’re out and about or when you’re just inside your house lazing off. Laidback, versatile, and comfortable, flip-flops are really good investments.

Flat diamante sandals
A pair of simple strappy diamante sandals without a heel will see you through from day to night. It is so easy to wear casually or when dressing up, they’re the ideal shoes to pop on when you’re just not sure what to wear, especially for impromptu dates! Choose a metallic pair like black, silver or gold for this would be versatile colors that could match any outfit.

Ballerina pumps
These footsies are so easy to wear and so comfortable, it’ll feel like you’re not wearing anything at all! You could even pop a pair or two in your handbag, for emergency situations that’ll call for sassiness 911! You could wear it with trousers, skirts or dresses; ballet pumps are one of the most wearable styles of shoes. Black or brown will be ideal for the workplace, while a pair with diamantes or jewel detail will be so perfect to add instant oomph. You’d definitely be lost without a pair of simple flat pumps.

Black (& red!) court shoes
Every woman needs a pair of simple black court shoes in her wardrobe; you’ll be amazed at the fun you’ll get out of them. A plain pair is best with or without a peep toe. You could wear them for the office, special occasions, gimmick nights, or to simply dress up an otherwise casual outfit. You’ll find that black court shoes go with pretty much anything! [Just a note: Avoid wearing them with light or pastel shades; they’re too deep and harsh.] Also, it’ll be good to also invest on red ones—they’d be great with everything while giving off that “look-at-me-NOW” vibe in it. You just can’t ignore red footsies!

Nude-colored shoes
Nude is the new black, apparently, and it’s no wonder why– because nude shoes are much more versatile than black ones. The beauty about nude footsies is that they have a leg-lengthening effect to make your pins look fantastic. The nude palette includes ivory, beige and peach shades to suit all skin tones, making them so easy to team with pastel, vibrant and deep colors. You could go for a pair of simple nude court shoes with a flattering peep toe and see how much wear you’ll get out of them.

Brown calf boots
Choose a pair of calf length boots with a small heel and you’ll never be out of them. Whether you pair them up with your trusty jeans, leggings, tights or with bare legs, every woman needs a pair of simple brown leather calf boots because they’re so versatile. Easy to dress down with jeans and easy to dress up with a dress, they’re so simple yet so timeless too.

Wellies
It goes without saying that wellies are a shoe wardrobe MUST– you don’t want soggy wet feet in the pouring rain, right? And that’s where wellies come in. You can even tuck your jeans into them. Choose a wide-fitting pair with adjustable straps around the calves for a comfortable fit. Before you shake your heads in disapproval, you must know that they don’t need to be boring! There are lots of fun wellies around these days in funky patterns and bright shades. Go for a pair that will go with most your outfits, but don’t be afraid to go for something funky, after all, that’s what makes wellies so fun.
